Regardless of the industry you work in, and the size of your company, there are few things that are more important than finding and retaining the best talent available. Ultimately, finding new employees can be very expensive, while sticking to your best employees will give your company the necessary foundation for lasting success.
Jack Altman, CEO of Lattice HR Programs, writes costs such as “recruitment, training, training, downward time to peak productivity, loss of engagement from others due to high work turnover, high business error rates, and general cultural impact”.
However, with the help of HR technology, companies can compensate for these expenses by better recruitment and talent management. For this reason, TNW has co-found the HR Innovation Program with Randstad.
By joining forces, this partnership between TNW and Randstad will make it easier for startups to integrate modern HR solutions so that they can better meet the HR challenges that often hinder their business before moving forward.
In addition, TNW and Randstad will launch a new channel this month, titled “Work 2030”, featuring amazing stories of startups in HR technology worldwide.
The main idea behind this program is that Randstad and TNW will link a list of startup partner companies to provide assistance with specific HR technology solutions. Startups are given a list of tested HR technology partners with a reputation for working with them, young brands will have the right tools to meet HR challenges so they can reduce costs and enjoy steady growth .
Trend to innovate
People with knowledge of both the history of Randstad and TNW should not be surprised by this latest innovative project. Realizing the increasing importance of technology in all aspects of life, TNW has partnered with Vodafone with the goal of integrating IoT solutions into several leading Dutch organizations.
Randstad is also excited to help startups with HR innovation, as clarified by the Randstad Innovation Fund. The fund works with the aim of encouraging new technological innovations across a wide range of HR applications, with a particular focus on big data analytics, exam and selection tools, machine learning and online platforms.
Previous startups funded through the Randstad Innovation Fund have included a tool that uses compelling neuroscience assessments to analyze a candidate’s soft skills to match the right person with the right job. Another successful startup includes HackerRank, a coding community of over 5 million strong developers, who source and codify programmers with the right opportunities.
Opportunity to learn more
Although the full list of partnership companies that will participate in the HR Innovation Program is still pending, this platform will have a significant impact on the way companies manage their human resource needs.
Even if your company does not currently need HR technology solutions very much, there is no denying that AI is preparing for a major disruption in companies of both ways to recruit top talent. And employers use to find out the state of their dreams.
Those wishing to learn more about HR technology and the future of work should pay full attention to the upcoming TNW conference. On May 9, Randstad’s CEO Jacques Van den Brooke will be interviewed in an in-depth conversation as they discuss current trends in HR technology and how it will affect the future of the business – including Randstad’s investments and initiatives in HR technology Are included.
At the TNW conference, Randstad will showcase 20 startups – selected by TNW and the Randstad Innovation Fund – that provide new solutions to potential institutional challenges. You can find it on the exhibition floor.
Words like “try and test” and “under pressure” used in job postings attract more male candidates. But when companies use gender-neutral descriptions, they get a wider range of applicants and the job will fill up three weeks faster than jobs that use biased language. It is, according to Textio, an AI-adapted writing service that analyzes job descriptions in real-time, exposing words and words that are often considered to be male or female.
Using data science to reveal hidden gender bias in job descriptions, Textio will examine gender bias and provide alternative options for all different phrases where a gender neutral synonym has been provided.
